Personal Injury and You

In the simplest terms, personal injury disputes arise when one person suffers from an accident or injury caused by someone else, or some public or private entity, that may be liable for the harm or injury. Legal disputes can be formal or informal, and are generally initiated by the person who has been harmed or injured. Personal injury claims may be against another person, business, corporation, city municipality, or government agency.

There are two important considerations concerning personal injury law: first, it is vital that you report a personal injury claim to an attorney as soon as possible, and preferably within 24 hours of the incident. Second, it is critical that you seek medical attention within fourteen (14) days of the incident. In every personal injury case, Florida Law and the Statue of Limitations will govern what relief and legal remedies you're entitled to pursue.
