Domenick "Dom" Lazzara is an experienced trial attorney practicing business law and intellectual property. He is the founding partner and co-owner of Dom Law, PA, “The Small Business Advocates.” ™ Dom serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Tampa, Sykes College of Business, teaching business and entrepreneurship law, along with serving in leadership roles both in legal and civic associations.

Dom has negotiated, successfully litigated, and settled hundreds of cases over the course of his career. In the past, he has successfully managed a demanding caseload of plaintiff claims against large defendants, including Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Carnival Cruise Lines, Winn-Dixie, and ACE Westchester.

Dom's dedication to law and his practice is equaled only by his devotion to civic service. Dom aims to uphold the integrity of law and is extremely active in national and local bar organizations. He is the former Vice-Director for the Membership and Marketing Team for the American Bar Association, Young Lawyer's Division (“YLD”). In addition, Dom sits on the board for the National Italian American Bar Association, and was a Delegate to The Florida Bar YLD, Board of Governors. Finally, Dom is not only a Certified Volunteer Guardian ad Litem in Florida, but also devotes a large part of his law practice to pro bono work.

Outside of the legal community, Dom dedicates his time to help raise money for the Shriners Hospital for Children, sitting on the Corporate Counsel Board. He is also a member of South Tampa Fellowship and a leader in the Youth Ministry and Sunday School teacher.

Dom formed Dom Law in 2016 with the goal of serving the Ybor City Community, a community his family has served for generations with their family business, Columbia Jobbing Company, Inc. At Dom Law, Dom gives clients the attention they deserve; the kind of attention the bigger firms and talking heads no longer provide. Dom prides himself on being a dedicated lawyer, friend, social advocate, and entrepreneur. In his free time, Dom enjoys spending time with his wife, Marcia, family, and friends. He also likes reading, cooking, and working in his yard. An avid fitness enthusiast, Dom completed his first full marathon in February 2013 and you often catch him at Crunch Fitness, in South Tampa.
